Receiving email from the FanFoc.us community
Although we strive to email our users as little as possible (see when we will email you below), email from the FanFoc.us community is still sometimes disrupted by spam filters. To ensure timely delivery of email please be sure to add support@FanFoc.us to your email services’ safe senders list or white list.
If you are looking for an email from the FanFoc.us community please check your spam or blocked email folders and flag our messages as safe. (See our guide for adding our address to your safe senders list)
For urgent problems (account activation, lost password, etc) please contact us at support@FanFoc.us.
A note about xxx@vt.edu addresses
If our email does not reach you please check your account in the VT Junk Mail Manager. Visit https://junk.mail.vt.edu/wm/spam/login.html and login with your PID. Look for a message from support@FanFoc.us and click the "Approve" button.
If you cannot find our emails in the VT Junk Mail Manager or you continue to experience problems please contact us at support@FanFoc.us.
When we will email you
We will never email you unless you explicitly ask us to or as necessary for your accounts security. The following are the only times we send you an email:
- Activating a new account
- When you change or forget your password
- If you signup for email notifications for specific forum threads (set on a per thread basis) or for periodic updates
- If you are sent an invitation from a friend to join the FanFoc.us community
- When your account reaches a new level/you receive new privileges
